The modern regime has stripped away every institution that once prepared men for the duties of self-government while simultaneously extending the franchise to every adult resident without regard for capacity or allegiance.

Where once the parish, the guild, the militia, and the household formed character and transmitted the memory of ordered liberty, the managerial state now substitutes propaganda that severs the voter from his inheritance and trains him to view the commonwealth as a resource to be consumed.

This is the precise condition that the American founders and the statesmen of Christendom sought to prevent when they limited the suffrage to those who bore the burdens of property, family, and defense of the realm.

The principle at stake is older than the American founding: no stable polity has ever survived the combination of universal adult voting and the deliberate destruction of the formative institutions that once made a people capable of self-rule.

From the fall of the Roman Republic through the guild orders of medieval Christendom to the covenantal towns of New England, the franchise was understood as a trust exercised by those already bound into the moral and economic fabric of the nation, not a right detached from duty and formation.

The actors who dismantled those schools of citizenship while preserving universal suffrage are the same technocratic priesthood that now rules through administrative agencies and cultural capture; they require an unformed electorate that cannot distinguish between the City of God and the City of Man.

The necessary consequence is already visible: policy that dissolves borders, erodes household property, and subordinates national sovereignty to global administrative structures proceeds without serious electoral resistance.

The faithful remnant must therefore cease treating the present franchise as sacrosanct and begin the work of rebuilding parallel institutions of formation while recovering the historic Christian understanding that political authority belongs to those who can exercise it responsibly under God.
