University of Pennsylvania assistant professor Beans Velocci has released a book declaring that renderings of stable biological sex make no sense under close scrutiny and that the binary itself stands incoherent. The author, who claims nonbinary and transgender status, occupies a chair in history and the sociology of science and directs the claim against the plain structure of human bodies.
This assertion does not arise from fresh observation of nature but from a deliberate campaign to dissolve the given order of male and female. The motive traces to the managerial priesthood that now staffs much of higher education, a class whose authority rests upon the destruction of inherited distinctions rather than their preservation.
The same priesthood once operated through earlier revolutions that sought to remake man according to abstract will. Its present target remains the household and the nation whose stability rests upon the recognition that sex is real and binary, a recognition the undivided Church affirmed in the Nicene Creed’s declaration of God as maker of all things visible and invisible.
That creedal affirmation echoes the realist tradition that holds universals and moral order as objective, not constructed. Sex belongs to that order; it is discovered in the body, not assigned by academic decree. The Augustinian insight that the soul finds rest only in the Creator who formed it male and female supplies the governing principle here violated.
When a professor in a position of public trust pronounces sex unreal, the act constitutes an attack upon the architecture of the household and the continuity of peoples. Such speech does not enlarge freedom but dissolves the conditions under which ordered liberty can exist.
The faithful remnant therefore recognizes the claim as one more front in the long contest between the City of God and the City of Man. The remnant refuses the dissolution, teaches children the reality of their bodies, and builds institutions that transmit the truth rather than the lie.
Parents must withdraw from captured universities and refuse their credentials. Pastors must name the denial of sex as heresy against the created order. Citizens must demand that public funds cease to subsidize the unmaking of man.
