Cook received twenty-one days to answer charges that she claimed two separate properties as primary residences to secure favorable loan terms.

The Federal Reserve Board has long operated as a citadel of the Managerial Priesthood, shielding its members from the accountability that binds every other servant of the American people. President Trump's renewed effort to remove Governor Lisa Cook exposes that citadel's claim to permanent independence as a direct assault on constitutional order.

Cook stands accused of listing both a Georgia condominium and a Michigan house as her primary residence on mortgage applications, conduct the administration regards as fraud. The Supreme Court earlier halted an immediate dismissal, insisting only that Cook receive notice and an opportunity to respond, yet the underlying question remains whether any governor of the central bank may claim sanctuary from removal by the elected executive.

Andrew Jackson shattered the Second Bank of the United States in 1832 precisely because unelected financiers had seized control of the nation's currency and credit. The same logic applies today: Congress holds the constitutional power to coin money and regulate its value, and the President executes the laws. No statutory insulation can legitimately place the Federal Reserve beyond that chain of authority.

The Augustinian distinction between the City of God and the City of Man finds a clear application here. The City of Man erects autonomous financial powers that answer to no sovereign; the City of God demands that every human institution remain under lawful rule and ultimately under divine judgment. The Federal Reserve's vaunted independence is merely the latest mask for that ancient rebellion against ordered hierarchy.

Chief Justice Roberts's opinion acknowledged that Cook must receive due process before termination. That procedural requirement does not confer substantive immunity. It merely ensures the Executive acts with deliberation rather than caprice, a standard entirely compatible with the President's duty to faithful execution of the laws.

The Technocratic Automaton that now occupies the governor's chair cannot be permitted to hide behind procedural niceties while the nation's monetary system drifts further from any anchor of real value or democratic consent. Sound money and national sovereignty rise or fall together.

President Trump must complete the removal and install governors who understand that the dollar belongs to the American people, not to an insulated priesthood. The faithful remnant must press every constitutional lever to dismantle the central bank's unaccountable power and restore Congress's direct responsibility for the currency.
