The Silicon Levellers Wage War on Man’s Noble Striving

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stood before the nation and named communism’s true crime: its deliberate reduction of man to a grey, level plain without heroes, courage, or transcendent striving. The same architecture of diminishment now governs the digital powers that throttle speech, reward conformity, and punish any ascent above the approved mean.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a direct indictment of communism, declaring that its vision is not merely impractical but actively hostile to courage, creativity, ambition, and every form of individual excellence that lifts men above the common lot.

The platforms that now mediate public speech enact the same vision through algorithms that bury dissenting excellence, deplatform those who refuse the grey consensus, and reduce human exchange to the safe, the managed, and the profitable.

Where the old communists used the state to abolish property and rank, the new managerial priesthood uses code, terms of service, and payment rails to abolish reputation, reach, and the possibility of unapproved glory.

Scripture and the ancient creeds affirm that man is made in the image of a God who creates, commands, and judges; the reduction of that image to interchangeable units of consumption is therefore an assault upon the very order of being.

From the leveling zeal of the French Revolution through the egalitarian tyrannies of the twentieth century, every attempt to flatten human difference has ended by destroying the households, guilds, and nations that once sheltered exceptional achievement under God.

Big Tech’s apparatus continues that war by other means, substituting the silicon censor for the secret police while preserving the identical hatred of hierarchy, heroism, and the unmediated voice.

The faithful remnant must therefore treat these platforms not as neutral markets but as active enemies of the City of God and must withdraw consent, capital, and attention from every system that enforces the grey plain.

Parallel networks, independent schools, household economies, and unapologetic local institutions are no longer optional improvements; they are the concrete refusal to inhabit the flattened world the algorithm demands.
