Germany’s public broadcasters ARD and ZDF have extended only ten invitations this year to politicians of the Alternative for Germany (AfD), the party now leading national opinion polls with more than one in four voters.

Establishment parties received the overwhelming share of airtime, with the CDU and CSU alone granted ninety-one appearances while the SPD secured fifty-six despite weaker support.

The Technocratic Automaton of state media thus enforces its own arithmetic of legitimacy, granting the leading party less than five percent of invitations even as law demands diversity of opinion.

This practice revives the ancient error of the City of Man, which seeks to manufacture consent rather than discover it through open contest, a pattern unbroken from the controlled pulpits of the late medieval order through the managed consensus of the post-war German state.

Scripture and the Reformed witness both insist that truth emerges where the Word is not bound and where no earthly steward claims monopoly over the common counsel.

The Managerial Priesthood that now directs German television therefore places itself above the people’s judgment, substituting administrative decree for the open reckoning the nation requires.

The faithful remnant must therefore reject the legitimacy of these closed forums, build alternative channels of discourse, and demand that every household and parish recover the right to hear its own representatives without permission from the state broadcaster.

Only by withdrawing consent from the managed voice can the historic nation restore the ordered liberty that belongs to a free Christian people.
