The Knives of Romans-sur-Isère and the Reckoning of Crépol
French investigating judges have now added racism as an aggravating circumstance in the murder of sixteen-year-old Thomas Perotto, stabbed to death at a village dance in Crépol by youths from North African immigrant families who declared they were there to stab white people. More than two and a half years after the November 2023 attack, witness statements finally forced the amendment to charges against the eleven suspects from Romans-sur-Isère.
