Seventy thousand migrants surged across the frontier into Spain's ancient exclave of Ceuta last week, overwhelming its garrison while Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's policies and court rulings smoothed their path. The same government that grants legal status to half a million illegal entrants has now stripped its forces of swift deportation powers at the Moroccan border.
Sánchez, acting as the leading instrument of the Managerial Priesthood in Europe, chose to treat this centuries-old Christian foothold in North Africa as little more than a reception center for the peoples of the Maghreb. His April decree and the July judicial ruling together removed every practical obstacle that once preserved the demographic integrity of the realm.
This is not an isolated incident but the latest chapter in the long retreat of Western Christendom from the southern shores it secured after the Reconquista. The same Iberian crown that completed the expulsion of Moorish power in 1492 now presides over the reversal of that victory under the banner of humanitarian abstraction.
The governing principle violated here is the ancient and biblical order of nations: peoples possess a right and duty to maintain the boundaries of their inheritance and to prefer their own household above the claims of strangers. Scripture and the creeds alike affirm that legitimate authority rules for the good of its particular people, not for the dissolution of every people into a formless mass.
Once this principle is abandoned, the concrete result follows without mercy: historic territories pass from the hands of their historic stewards into the possession of those who arrive in sufficient numbers and are invited by the ruling class. Ceuta's garrison could not hold because the political will to reinforce it had already been surrendered in Madrid.
The Faithful Remnant across Europe must therefore reject the false charity of open borders and restore the elementary duty of every Christian commonwealth to defend its own. That duty begins with the immediate closure of every illegal route, the revocation of the Sánchez decrees, and the reassertion of sovereign authority over every inch of remaining territory.
Those who continue to facilitate the invasion will answer not only before history but before the Judge who established nations and their borders from the beginning.
