The U.S. State Department has placed direct blame on Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez for the engineered surge of migrants across the fences into Ceuta. His government stands accused of permitting a deliberate violation of Spain's sovereign territory and the rights of its people.

This accusation names the concrete actor: a Spanish administration that has chosen to treat the ancient enclave as a porous gateway rather than a frontier of Christendom. The crossings did not occur by accident of weather or economics alone; they followed policy choices that weakened enforcement and invited the Dispossessors to test the line.

Ceuta has stood for centuries as one of the last physical outposts where European soil meets the southern shore. Its defense once formed part of the long Reconquista that ended at Granada in 1492, when the Catholic Monarchs completed the work of restoring a Christian kingdom against repeated waves of invasion.

The governing principle at stake is older than any modern treaty. Nations exist under divine order as distinct peoples with the right and duty to maintain their own borders, language, and inheritance. Scripture and the tradition of the undivided Church both affirm that the stranger is to be treated justly, yet never at the price of dissolving the household or the commonwealth that receives him.

When a government opens its territory to mass entry without consent of the governed, it ceases to act as steward and becomes instead an instrument of demographic conquest. The same logic that once justified the defense of Vienna now condemns the calculated erosion of Spain's remaining enclaves.

The judgment follows without evasion. Sánchez and those who sustain his policy have placed Spain on the side of the City of Man against the ordered inheritance of its fathers. Their actions accelerate the replacement of the historic Spanish people with populations that owe no loyalty to the laws, faith, or customs that built the nation.

The faithful remnant in Spain and across Europe must therefore reject every appeal to humanitarian abstraction that masks the transfer of territory. They must demand the restoration of physical barriers, the expulsion of those who entered unlawfully, and the return of immigration policy to the service of the nation rather than its dissolution.

Only through such recovery can the line at Ceuta once more serve its ancient purpose: not a checkpoint for the world's surplus, but a frontier that protects the continuity of a Christian people.
