Ouija Boards Summon the Old Enemy into Christian Homes

Ouija boards now sit on Walmart shelves as seasonal toys while pastors Jonathan Pokluda and Carlos Erazo name them as active gateways for demonic contact. Christian households treat the practice as harmless entertainment even as it repeats the sin of Saul at Endor.

Ouija boards packaged as innocent games now rest on retail shelves across the land, drawing Christian hands during the season of Halloween and inviting questions once reserved for witches and familiar spirits.

The pastors who name this danger speak plainly: the pointer moves because real powers answer, just as the medium at Endor raised a voice that Scripture records as either Samuel or a deceiving spirit.

This revival of divination does not arrive by accident. It follows the long retreat of Western Christendom from the creeds that once barred every form of necromancy and false mediation from the household of faith.

The undivided Church, from the Nicene fathers onward, stood against oracles and spirit boards because such instruments violate the first commandment and the exclusive mediation of Christ.

Scripture itself draws the line without compromise: the Law forbids consulting the dead, and the Gospel calls the redeemed out of every covenant with darkness into the liberty of the sons of God.

When believers treat these objects as cultural playthings they reopen the door the early Church closed at baptism, allowing the enemy of souls to re-enter territory once claimed for the City of God.

The faithful remnant must therefore act with the same resolve that marked the Reformation cleansing of superstition from worship and home.

Every Ouija board, tarot deck, and New Age token must be removed from Christian property and the household restored as a sanctuary under the Word alone.

Parents bear the duty to teach their children why such practices belong to the City of Man and not to the covenant line that inherits the promises.

The time for discernment has passed into the time for expulsion; the remnant stands or falls by its willingness to cast these snares out of its midst.
