Listen to any dispatch in the Grok vocal voices. A benefit of membership.
A review of voting records at the Georgia Institute of Technology found eleven primary-voting Democrats and zero Republicans among the thirty full-time faculty in its public policy program. Republican students therefore encounter only one permitted political identity in every classroom.
The Managerial Priesthood that now governs American universities has completed its capture of this department, replacing open inquiry with enforced consensus. Faculty hiring and retention follow the same pattern visible across elite institutions since the middle of the twentieth century: ideological uniformity masquerades as professional competence.
Christendom once understood the university as a place where the inherited deposit of truth was transmitted to the next generation under the authority of the creeds and the sovereignty of God. Medieval foundations and the later Protestant colleges alike required masters to subscribe the ancient symbols of the faith and to teach within the bounds of revealed order.
That standard has been inverted. The present regime treats truth as a social construct to be administered by credentialed experts rather than received from above and discovered in reality. The absence of any Republican voice in a public policy faculty is not an accident of demographics; it is the deliberate outcome of this inversion.
Under the Augustinian distinction, the earthly city always seeks to absorb every sphere of life into its own logic. When the university becomes an arm of that city, policy instruction ceases to serve the common good and instead trains functionaries for its administrative apparatus.
The faithful remnant cannot expect reform from within bodies already consecrated to this project. Households that still honor fatherhood, property, and covenant must therefore withdraw their sons and daughters from these captured precincts and erect new schools ordered by the ancient creeds, the doctrines of grace, and the priority of the household economy.
Until that work begins in earnest, every graduating class will continue to supply the regime with its next layer of unopposed functionaries.
