Every subsequent Christian reflection on just governance, from the Augustinian distinction between the City of God and the earthly city to the Reformed insistence on sphere sovereignty, has reaffirmed that nations may not surrender their decision-making to perpetual bureaucratic forums without inviting the dissolution of ordered liberty.
The Helsinki Commission violates this inheritance by institutionalizing the notion that American interests require constant mediation through an international body whose membership includes states openly hostile to the historic Christian foundations of the West. Its reports and recommendations routinely prioritize migration management, minority protections, and arms-control regimes that dilute border sovereignty and domestic authority.
The managerial priesthood that staffs these commissions treats the nation-state as an obsolete vessel to be managed rather than a covenantal inheritance to be defended. Their work perpetuates the very globalist architecture the present administration has pledged to dismantle through the closure of USAID and the restructuring of federal agencies.
The faithful remnant must therefore demand the immediate defunding and statutory abolition of the Helsinki Commission.
