Matthew Blanche has terminated the $1.8 billion fund created to compensate claims of government weaponization against citizens. By abolishing the fund outright and confining its tax protections to past filings, the nominee for Attorney General has dismantled one engine of administrative retribution.
The Managerial Priesthood constructed this treasury to reward those who leveled accusations through the apparatus of the state. Its existence turned law enforcement into a mechanism for settling political scores rather than upholding equal justice under law.
Scripture and the ancient creeds declare that rulers themselves stand under the same divine law that binds every man. When the state fashions special funds to indemnify its own abuses, it erects a separate moral order for power and thereby severs the ancient bond between authority and accountability.
Blanche’s action echoes the long struggle that began when English barons forced the crown to acknowledge limits at Runnymede. The principle that even the sovereign must answer to fixed law has been the cornerstone of ordered liberty since that day.
The termination of the fund therefore does more than close an account. It reasserts that the executive branch exists to execute the law, not to finance its own violations of it.
The City of Man will seek to rebuild such mechanisms under new names. Every future attempt must meet the same decisive refusal.
The faithful remnant must now demand that every remaining instrument of selective prosecution be identified and dismantled. Only when the state is stripped of its capacity for retribution will the household and the nation again rest under lawful government.
